Book a spot in the newsletter

Little Local goes out every Thursday. Book and send your details by Tuesday at noon to make that week's issue. Anything that comes in later runs the following week.

Right after you pay, you'll get a short form to send us:

• Sponsored Listing: event name, date, time and location, a 1–2 sentence description and one link.
• Bulletin: up to 60 words, one image (your poster or a photo works great) and one link.
• Featured Event: event name, date, time and location, up to 100 words, one landscape image (at least 1200px wide) and one link.

JPG or PNG images are best. Keep text on images minimal so they read well on phones.

We may lightly edit for length, clarity and to fit Little Local's friendly tone. We'll never change your dates, prices or event details.

• Featured Event: first in our What's Happening section, with your image. Only one per week.
• Bulletin: pinned to our Bulletin board, with a short write-up underneath.
• Sponsored Listing: near the top of our weekly events list, with soft shading and a small "Sponsored" label.

We don't send proofs, but we'll email you a link once your issue is live.

Family-friendly events, classes, programs and businesses in Greater Victoria. If something isn't a fit for our readers, we'll let you know and give you a full refund.

Need to move your date? Let us know up to 48 hours before your issue goes out and we'll move it to another week (Featured Events depend on availability). Bookings can't be refunded after that.

Prices don't include GST. 5% GST is added at checkout, and you'll get a receipt by email.
